Why We Pray

The primary purpose of prayer is to gain God's perspective.

We are not bringing God to the Flemish People. He is already here and at work. He invited us to join Him here.

However, it is through consistent, committed, persistent and intensive prayer that we connect to the power from above.

We are sustained and encouraged by your prayers. We are not here alone. You as our Prayer Ministry Partners are on the team. We are simply the ones who live in Belgium.

In an effort to help you pray with more intentionality, please check out some of the links on the left side of this page.

We promise to try to tell you "when and how" God answers your prayers because God always answers.

Please continue to intercede for following concerns:

Please pray for these churches that will be ministering here this year: First Baptist Church, Smyrna, Tennessee; Roswell Street Baptist Church, Marietta, Georgia, and a team from Florida that will be here in July. Also pray for another church that is seeking God's leadership about ministering in the fall. First Baptist Church, Jacksonville, Arkansas will be joining us in ministry in 2010.

Pray for God's guidance as we seek how He would have us join Him in reaching into the international community as well as the political community in Belgium. He is already at work and we are seeking how to join Him. Pray especially for "T&C" who have a heart for this community. Ask for wisdom and guidance as they continue to make connections.

Please continue to pray for "S&L," "G," "E&N" and "A&Y". Pray also that God would open the hearts of other locals and lead us to them. We are still seeking to find local believers who will be willing to move out of their comfort zone and into an effort at planting organic house churches. This is a critical need. God is working very specifically in some of these instances. Please give added attention to these partners.

Pray for "S&L" to know God's leadership in jobs beginning this spring. Pray for "A" who has some severe and chronic back pain that prevents him at times from working.

Pray for more churches and Prayer Partners to join us in ministry here. We live and thrive on your prayer and ministry support. It will be especially critical this year as we seek to develop new team relationships.

Join us in praising God for His mercy and blessings through the sacrificial gifts of His people to the Lottie Moon Offering for International Missions.

Continue to pray for our connections with "H", "L&G", "V", "D.J." and others in our neighborhood and vriendenkring (relationship/friend circle).
