Lucy Lagrone-Long

She also worked in Pediatric Intensive Care at Cook-Fort Worth Children's Hospital (Fort Worth, Texas). While in Plainview, Texas she worked in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Saint Mary's Hospital (Lubbock, Texas) and Plains Regional Hospital (Plainview, Texas).

Lucy also worked with Hospice of the Plains (Plainview, Texas) as a Home Health Care Supervisor for a couple of years.

She moved to Florida and worked in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Florida Hospital (Orlando, Florida) as an Assistant Nurse Manager. She finished twenty-seven years as a Registered Nurse working in the Intensive Care Units of Ocala Regional Medical Center and Munroe Regional Hospital (Ocala, Florida). Since nurses never "retire" she still ministers to others by answering questions and helping people understand their healthcare process.

After high school he was a truck driver for Florida Food Service (Gainesville, Florida) before serving three years in the United States Army. In the Army he was stationed at Fort Knox, Kentucky; Fort Bliss, Texas; and US Naval Station, Key West, Florida. In the Army, John was the Assembly and Service Section Chief for a HAWK Surface to Air Missile site. He attained the rank of sergeant before leaving the Army in 1975.

Following service in the Army, John worked at the John R. Kelley Generating Station (Electric Power) in Gainesville, Florida. He also joined his father and brother in running the family farm (near LaCrosse, Florida). John graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Broadcasting. He worked at the radio and television stations at the University of Florida. He received a Master of Arts in Religious Education from the Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas and a Doctor of Educational Ministries Degree from the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary (New Orleans, Louisiana). John served as a Minister of Education for over twenty-six years in churches in Texas (Connell Baptist Church, Fort Worth, Texas and College Heights Baptist Church, Plainview, Texas) and Florida (Orange Heights Baptist Church, Orange Heights, Florida; First Baptist Church Pine Castle, Orlando, Florida; Bay Street Baptist Church, Eustis, Florida and First Baptist Church, Belleview, Florida).
